Welcome to the Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival. This year our festival is filled with great delights - wonderful performances, free events, and lots of fun - as well as workshops, master classes and informative demonstrations.
It is a special year for us, one in which we have focused on the Port of Los Angeles Lobster Fest mission not only to bring nationally and internationally renowned artists into our midst, but to give back to the community through free events and community partnerships designed to showcase local artists.
The Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival is set to enrapture festival lovers once again. Our venue will leave you fascinated, captivated and enthralled. With performances ranging from classic to contemporary, traditional to avant-garde, each act will inspire you to greater heights.

Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival
You don't have to be in Maine or Boston to eat some of the United States' most prized lobster. The Port of Los Angeles annually flies in 12 tonnes of this marine delicacy all the way from Maine to kick off its lobster season shell-o-bration. The Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival takes place in the Ports O'Call village on the Harbor Waterfront in San Pedro.
Invariably the most popular food item at the festival is a 1.25 pound whole steamed Maine lobster meal. The lobsters are flown in live and are so fresh that they can probably point their way back to the beach, albeit on the other side of the United States. It comes served with coleslaw and a bread and butter roll, although purists normally stick to a squeeze of lemon.…...more!
